Heavy material such as drywall, tile, concrete, soil and shingles is priced by weight rather than volume, because the dump charges us by the tonne. Send a photo and we will quote it exactly.

Metal and appliances cost you less

Metal goes to a recycler rather than the dump, so an all metal load of old appliances, barbecues, bed frames, bikes or shelving costs less than the prices above. Tell us what it is and we will price it lower.

Common questions

Do I need to move it outside first?

No. We carry it out of the basement, the garage or upstairs. That is what you are paying for.

Can you give a firm price before you arrive?

Yes, if you text us a photo. It is the fastest way and it means no surprises on the day. Heavy renovation debris we price by weight, and we say so up front.

What happens to it all?

Anything usable goes to Habitat ReStore or a charity. Metal goes to a recycler. Only what is genuinely waste goes to the transfer station.

Would a bin be cheaper?

Sometimes. If you have a lot of material and do not mind loading it yourself, a bin can work out less. We will tell you honestly if that is your better option.
